Client Retention Report
The Simple Salon Client Retention Report allows you to effectively keep an eye on which of your clients are rebooking and those who are not. It gives you an opportunity to increase your client retention by marketing, via SMS and email, to those who haven't rebooked. The report also allows you to filter the information using various parameters to give you a more detailed look at what's happening.
Sales Report
The Sales Report gives you everything you need to know about your revenue figures. The report not only looks at your total sales revenue (including and excluding GST/TAX), but it also breaks down the figures to show you how much of the revenue was from Clients, Walk Ins, Packages, Gift Vouchers etc. Each line of the report accounts for something new to ensure that you have a full analysis of your figures.

Your Simple Salon Product Purchase Report, Package Purchase Report, Gift Voucher Report and Service Report provide you with knowledge about which products, services, packages and vouchers are selling best. The Client Management Report displays the database percentage and total number of clients who are missing specific personal details or who haven’t been enabled for various settings. At a glance you can see who doesn’t have a mobile number, an email address, an address etc. It also uncovers how much of your database isn’t enabled for SMS and email reminders or promotions. Can I transfer my data?
Yep, you sure can. We get loads of people coming from other salon software like Shortcuts, Timely, Kitomba, Fresha (Shedul), Square, and more. We can even help you figure out how to do it (hint, it’s not hard). You can also download your data from Simple Salon at any time.
Will my staff be able to take my clients?
No. Client records, visit history and contact details live in YOUR business account, not in anyone's personal phone. Access levels let each staff member see only what they need, and your data is exportable by you, any time.
I run everything on paper. How hard is the switch?
Easier than you think. We'll help you move your paper book and client list across, and most salons are up and running within a day. There's nothing to install, so it works in the browser you already have.
Can I use my existing device?
Yes, you can. As long as your existing device isn’t a manual typewriter. Simple Salon works with any computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet connectivity. You can even use your phone’s hotspot to connect to Simple Salon in hard to reach places.
Is there anything to install?
Nothing to install. Simple Salon works in any of your normal browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Brave. Get going today, as soon as you sign up.
Is it safe?
We invest heavily in the most secure technology available. We use the same technology used for banks to keep your data YOUR data alone. For anyone who needs to know, the servers are in Australia.
Can I get training?
Sure can. We offer a range of videos to help you get started quickly and easily. And if you’d like a personal training session as well, we offer an online session (2 hours, on the phone). Get in touch for pricing, or request a time for personal training here.
Is it capped? I have a lot of operators.
Yes, your salon software pricing is capped. If you have 7 or more operators, the price you will be billed is capped at 7.
E.g. If you have 12 operators showing, on the Starter plan, your cost will be 7 x US$20 = US$140 per month (US & other regions), or 7 x A$25 = A$175 per month (Australia & NZ).
What does the included SMS mean?
Everyone loves SMS messaging, but it can be expensive. To help make SMS more affordable, you have the option of choosing one of our plans that add SMS credits to your account each month.
There are plans that include up to 300 SMS per operator. For a small extra monthly fee the SMS credits are automatically added to your account for your reminders and marketing needs.
E.g. If you have 5 operators showing, on the Pro plan that includes 200 SMS credits per operator, your cost will be 5 x A$45 = A$225 per month (Australia & NZ), or 5 x US$34 = US$170 per month (US & other regions), with 1000 SMS credits included.
Are the included SMS locked to each operator?
No, the SMS credits are added to your Simple Salon account each month and are available to be used across your business for your reminders, marketing and other SMS requirements. You can purchase additional credits if required.
