What if the internet goes down?

What about hardware?

Well, we have hardware we can provide you. But if you've got a computer already and you really would like a cash drawer and receipt printer, just purchase our package of Cash Drawer and Receipt Printer for $570 which has been tested and verified to work with Simple Salon.

Can I check my salon from home?

As a matter of fact by using Simple Salon you can check how your salon is going from home, a hotel while on holiday, or wirelessly on a laptop in a cafe watching the sun setting over the beach!

What about the CD?

Exactly what about it? Simple Salon does not require any CDs! As a matter of fact there is nothing to install, simply visit www.simplesalon.com click the "Member Login" link, type in the username, password and Company ID we issue you and you're in.

What if I run a "No Appointments Necessary" salon?

That's easy, simply use the "Cash Register" screen. You can add all your service and product sales as "Walk Ins" or if you've added the client's name earlier you can use 'Add Client to Sale' and record the sale that way giving you a history for that client automatically.

What sort of computer do I need?

Buying a computer to use with Simple Salon is easy. Virtually any new computer will do the job. The minimum specifications are a 2.0 GHz Processor, 256MB memory (RAM), 40 GB Hard Disk, Microsoft Windows XP or Vista. Plus, you need a Broadband Internet connection such as ADSL or Cable. (And now, you can use an Apple Mac with the latest version of Firefox)

Yes, you certainly can. Simple Salon supports the latest version of Firefox running on both Apple Macs and PCs. (We'll be adding support for Safari soon)

Is my data safe?
