Can my data be imported from my other system?
Yep, we’ll move as much of your data across from your old system to Simple Salon as we can. And in most cases, at the very least you get your basic client details, products and services. If we can import visit/colour history, we can import up to 2 years worth of data. Unfortunately, we cannot import financial history, reward programs, future appointments, previously purchased products or packages.

What if the internet goes down?
In all the years we've been running we've had only 2 clients call for help when their internet went down. On both occasions we simply faxed them their appointments for the day. Now with the Apple iPad 3G or the iPhone you have one more way to access your information

Can I check my salon from home?
As a matter of fact by using Simple Salon you can check how your salon is going from home, a hotel while on holiday, or wirelessly on a laptop in a cafe watching the sun setting over the beach!

What about the CD?
Exactly what about it? Simple Salon does not require any CDs! As a matter of fact there is nothing to install, simply visit www.simplesalon.com click the "Member Login" link, type in the username, password and Company ID we issue you and you're in.

What if I run a "No Appointments Necessary" salon?
That's easy, simply use the "Cash Register" screen. You can add all your service and product sales as "Walk Ins" or if you've added the client's name earlier you can use 'Add Client to Sale' and record the sale that way giving you a history for that client automatically.

What sort of computer do I need?
Buying a computer to use with Simple Salon is easy. Virtually any new computer will do the job. Just visit somewhere like OfficeWorks or JB HiFi and select a basic PC or Apple Mac off the shelf. Plus, you need a Broadband Internet connection such as ADSL or Cable.

Can I use an Apple Mac?
Yes, you certainly can. Simple Salon runs on both Apple Macs and PCs. We support a variety of internet browsers such as the current versions of Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.

Is my data safe?
Your data is safer stored with Simple Salon than it is on the computer in your salon. With Simple Salon your data is stored in a highly secured hosting environment protected from fire, theft and other nasty disasters. One of our very first clients actually had a fire in their salon - if they had been using any other salon software, their data would have been lost. But because they had been using Simple Salon, their data was safe and sound.

Can I export my data?
Yes, you certainly can! We have an export feature built into virtually all our reports, so you can do the export yourself at any point in time. If there is additional information that you require, in some cases we can do custom exports at cost of $99 per file.
